It begins on top of a hill.
Deep within the forest something is stirring.
It exists with every remembering.
Last Night's Party is a soundwalk based on stories of fairy abductions set within Belvoir Park Forest in Northern Ireland. The walk takes the listener through one of Ireland's most historic woodlands, enveloping them in the sounds, poetry and myths from the area. As the listener walks, the sounds and voices they hear embellish the visual landscape they pass.
The walk follows what appears to be a dream, recounted by a voice in the listeners headphones. This voice appears to describe the very path the listener is treading, and gradually the fantastical experiences it describes begin to become reality as images and sounds recounted in the dream appear to be happening right in front of the listeners eyes and deep inside their ears until the listener is inside, or living, this experience - last night's party.
