took a tumble is a sound and video piece in response to a felt sense of collapse—in slow motion, fast-forward and reverse, all at once—that seems to have hugged the last decade like a thick but intangible fog.
The visuals are collaged from found footage and the music features user generated content from freesound, original vocals, virtual instruments and the Lyra 8 synthesiser.
took a tumble was shown in March 2025 as part of Folde, a group show curated by Rowan Corkill for The Old Mint House, Pevensey.
